It depends on the type of adhesive. Many cement-based or epoxy construction adhesives are fully resistant to typical environmental moisture and heat. However, in extremely hot areas (e.g., near boiler rooms or industrial spaces), it is best to use specialized heat-resistant or waterproof adhesives to ensure the durability of the bond is not compromised.
Industrial adhesives are engineered for heavier-duty bonding and production environments, typically offering superior adhesion strength, as well as higher thermal and chemical resistance. In contrast, general and household adhesives are used for light, everyday applications such as minor repairs, paper, plastic, or fabric. While household glues usually dry faster, they generally offer less durability compared to their industrial counterparts.
